In Person · Raleigh, NC

Training in Raleigh, in real life.

1-on-1 training and small group runs around Raleigh — outdoors, on the greenways, built around the mindset work rather than a gym floor. I moved here from New Hampshire this month and I'm running these routes anyway. If you're local and you've been meaning to start, this is the version where somebody actually shows up with you.

Option 1 · One to one

1-on-1 Sessions

We meet, we train, and we build the plan around your actual week — not the week you wish you had. Running, strength you can do without a gym, and the honest conversation about what's been stopping you. Best if you want structure and someone who notices when you go quiet.

Option 2 · Group

Small Group Runs

A handful of people, an easy pace, and nobody getting dropped. Built for the person who'd never join a run club because they assume everyone there is fast. Cheaper than 1-on-1, and the accountability comes from the group as much as from me.

Before you email

Who this is actually for.

Good fit

You've started before and stopped

You've had the gym membership. You've had the January. The training was never the hard part — showing up on the Tuesday you didn't feel like it was. That's the part I'm useful for.

Good fit

You're new to Raleigh too

Moving somewhere new quietly wrecks every routine you had. I'm three weeks into exactly that. Rebuilding it with someone else doing the same thing is significantly easier than rebuilding it alone.

Not a fit

You want a quick transformation

I'm not going to promise you a number by a date. What I'll give you is a plan you can actually keep and someone who holds you to it. If you're looking for a 30-day shortcut, there are plenty of people selling one.

How it works

Three steps, no sales call.

Step 1

Email me

Tell me where you're at, what you're after, and roughly where in Raleigh you are. A few sentences is plenty.

Step 2

We meet and run

First session is about finding your real starting point. No test, no judgement, and nobody's getting run into the ground on day one.

Step 3

You get a plan you'll keep

Built around your schedule and what you'll realistically do — then we meet on a rhythm that makes sense for you.

Where

Outdoors, wherever's closest to you.

Raleigh has over 100 miles of Capital Area Greenway, which is a genuinely absurd advantage for this kind of training. Depending on where you are, that usually means the Shelley Lake loop in North Raleigh, Dorothea Dix Park and its hills, Lake Johnson in the southwest, the flat and fast Neuse River Trail, or the trails at Umstead State Park when you want something longer and softer underfoot.

No gym required, and no membership to buy before you start. If you're outside Raleigh proper — Cary, Apex, Wake Forest, Durham — email me anyway and we'll see what's workable.

Work With Me · In Person

Spots are limited, on purpose.

I keep the in-person roster small so everyone actually gets my attention. Tell me what you're after — 1-on-1 or the group runs — and where in Raleigh you are, and I'll come back to you with the honest answer on cost and availability. No sales call, no pressure.

Common questions

The things people ask first.

Where do the sessions happen in Raleigh?

Outdoors, on the Capital Area Greenway and in Raleigh's parks — Shelley Lake, Dorothea Dix Park, Lake Johnson, the Neuse River Trail, or Umstead. We pick whatever's closest to you.

Do I need to already be a runner?

No. Most people who reach out haven't run consistently in years, or have never trained with any structure at all. The first session is about finding your actual starting point, not proving anything.

What's the difference between this and your online coaching?

Online coaching is remote and works anywhere — programming, check-ins and accountability over messages. In-person is Raleigh only, outdoors, and I'm physically there with you for the session.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the format and how often you want to meet. Email me with what you're after and I'll give you a straight answer, with no obligation.

What if I'm carrying an injury?

Say so in the email. I'll work around a lot, but I'm not a physio and I won't pretend to be — if something needs looking at properly, I'll tell you that before I take your money.
